Muted text recedes from the main copy, while borders describe the surrounding chrome.

Typography

Heading One

Long-form prose combines regular links, strong text, emphasis, and inline code within the same reading texture.

Heading Two

Headings and link underlines carry the ember accent, while paragraphs keep to the foreground colour for sustained reading.

Blockquotes use the border colour to separate quoted material from the surrounding body copy.

Added a /games page to my site.

It’s a catalogue of the games I’ve completed, am currently playing, and want to play.

There’s more I want to do with it, like reviews and maybe even guides, but pages for movies, TV and books are next.

This captures what makes these tools appealing to me too. I renamed my “notes” directory to “thoughts” because it’s where I now do all of my thinking.

Logseq seems to suit my brain more than Obsidian, but with either tool the best feature is the cross-linking of ideas. I will sometimes forget where I wrote a note, but I remember that it linked to other ideas, so I can go to them to find the one I am looking for. …

Moving House

I’m in the middle of the moving house ordeal.

The next one isn’t ready yet, so I’m temporarily in an empty house my Auntie’s just moved out of. There’s no furniture, fridge, or, regrettably, wifi.

Instead I have a camping chair, rice cooker, and my laptop.

My homelab is switched off and in storage. I don’t have access to:

  • IRC
  • movies
  • offline reading
  • RSS feeds

… so I’m updating my website. My home on the internet.
