My name’s Paul. I grew up in Birmingham and now live in North Wales 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁷󠁬󠁳󠁿.

I’m a platform engineer with experience spanning application development, cloud infrastructure, and the systems that connect the two. I’ve contributed to products used by some of the most recognisable names in tech.

My focus is on building the foundations that help engineering teams deliver reliable software: automating infrastructure, improving developer workflows, and enabling teams to deploy, observe, and iterate on backend services with confidence.

I learn best by experimenting, which is why I run my own homelab. It’s where I explore new tools, break things safely, and host the services I use every day.

Outside of work I like hiking and camping. Sometimes I write about my trips.

is made with Hugo and my own custom theme that uses TailwindCSS.

It’s hosted on a Raspberry Pi, and Cloudflare is used to manage the domain.
